Hey all
im 14 and looking to get into DH properly, i need to buy a bike to do DH with. i was gonna look for second hand parts to keep costs down. anyone go any ideas on what would be good for a downhiller with some experience of it

kona stinky's are great for dh, bit on the heavy side imo but they ride really, really well.

if u are buying a frame, and adding components, id recomend buying new parts, as second hand parts are sometimes a false econemy, with that in mind, u can use old parts, and upgrade, that way, u can compare good and bad, and i find if u get a new part each month, it keeps u intrested, remember, a bike is never complete, there is always new and better parts coming out,0
