Can you get something to blast into your tubes or tyres as a get you home measure?

When i'm commuting home in the dark/freezing cold/heavy rain i could do with a get you home device in the event of a puncture. Whats the best options? I find changing the tube is always a pain, surprisingly irrating and not always succesful.

I keep a can of Vittoria Pit Stop in my jersey pocket, but haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, thankfully.

I use the Proflate 16 CO2 inflator. You can get them at most shops for about £20 and wouldn't dream of bothering with a hand pump ever again. You can see it here. You have to reflate your tyre the next day because it'll deflate quite quickly, but it'll see you out for the rest of the day.

I always go for the conventional tube replacement and pump. Why waste all that money on CO2 when a good pumping will get you warm again ?

Just what I need is that, a tube replacement and a good pumping.
