I'm looking for a stem to raise some handlebars up by as much as possible for a friend's who doesn't like leaning down.
Needs to be Ahead style. I did the same thing before with a bike that had a quill stem using a promax adjustable stem and got a lot of extra height but all the Ahead style stems I can find on the interweb don't actually look that tall.
Anyone able to recommend something?
Thanks

  • that's great, just what i need thanks.
It has the added advantage that once its on you can mess with the stem without messing with the headset which is something that always annoys me with the aheadset system.
  • or if you don't want theat rather poor looking item, Easton do an adjustable bar and stem combo that can be adjusted to three different heights i believe, maybe worth a try, i think it asbout £100 all in.
