I believe it. Zabel claiming he used only once in 96 while his domestique admits to 7 years of continued use of doping makes me doubt Zabel especially after the documentary in which their friendship, room sharing was emphasised...how could Zabel have watched Aldag come and go with dope to help him win and not don e himself?. And the claims about Astana in Mallorca sound well...quite possible given what we found about the Astana heros of the summer 97.

The detail in this certainly has the ring of truth. Speaking as a currently-failed/pending novelist, dialogue is the hardest to fake, and the stuff reported by CN sounds real.

Nothing shocking, just more depressing.

I think that will be true for most people. The important thing, perhaps, is that this information gets out and stays out so that McQuaid and his ilk cannot continue to say it doesn't exist. Only when everyone has admitted the problem can they move on, this sort of information is key in taking those steps forward. The door is being forced ever more open and a bit more information get through every time it does so.
