Im currently doing a project for Uni and i need to know the material of aluminium used in the chris king axle(grade and heat treatment eg. 7075 T3), oh and the Hope Pro 2 if anyone knows if. Ive looked in the tech pages and all across the King website.

un\likely that they will be heat treated as they have not gone through any heat process.

The axles will most probably be made out of some form of heat treated aluminium. As you can buy pre heat treated bar stock.
Most of the structural aluminium parts on the race car I'm helping to design are made out of 2014T6 (HE15), so thats the low profile sump, hubs and diff carriers.Intense Socom
