How do you manage to go out on a ride at the weekend?

I cant go out saturday for a ride and i made my comeback from injury today for my sunday league team. Is it a bad idea to also go out on my bike sunday? Or will i be in too much pain and suffering afterwards?

i probably will do both but i need to give it a few weeks for my legs to get used to running and playing football again!

i was just wondering whether other people did it!?

im only 21 so im definitely the right side of 30. And ive got ox legs as a direct result of playing football and cycling from a very very young age!

I used to, gave up 4 years ago (at the grand age of 25!) due to injury. I broke my ankle playing five a side, then within 12 months I snapped my humerus in half playing Sunday league.

Decided that it's not worth the time off work, especially as I'm in sales and rely on commssion!

I've taken to running and cycling now after a period of doing nothing but getting fat, and at least now when I get injured it's usually something from the impact of running and doesn't put me out of work.
