Does anyone know whether the Wellgo LU-209 pedal can take a road shoe?

- they came with my new road-bike. They've got toe clips, but am just wondering whether you can remove the toe clips etc and attach a proper road shoe?

Thanks

You can certainly use these pedals with either a traditional style of road shoe - might find some on ebay - or alternatively a touring shoe - which has a flat sole, or an MTB shoe without a cleat. Best to keep the toeclips to help you hold the shoes to the pedals too. If you're looking for clipless pedals, you need to buy a different pedal and a shoes that's compatible with the style of pedal.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Thanks Monty - I was a bit unsure whether they were proper clipless or not - that clears it up.

    Thanks again.
