i've managed to get my dad into cycling which is obvioulsy good news!
we went touring in France this summer and he used an old mountain bike/hybrid that i'd used previously for touring which was comfortable and performed well but heavy and a little slow.
he now wants drops, something lighter and suitable for light weight (road-based) touring ie not camping. in fact he wants something pretty similar to my condor fratello that i toured on, but without the £1000 price tag!
Second-hand might be the way to go....anyway some thoughts about suitable bikes would be appreciated.
