Hi,
I recently bought a univega DH 9 bike, which i love, but the shock is/was a rockshox pro deluxe (piggyback with rebound and compression) and in the past two rides the rebound has died almost entirely.
My wages from the summer also came through so i have £80 to spend fixing it. I wanted advce on whether I should send it to be TF tuned as it has been before or whether i should look elsewhere.
I was looking at an old vanilla R or RC from ebay. As the frame is massively adjustable could i use a 220mm shock instead of my 200mm rockshox one if i move the linkage position? Also are the bushings from my rockshox interchangable with other shocks (the are the beefier ones done by TF tuned)?
Sorry for all the questions and thank you for any replies.
