My new office provides only a single hook from which to suspend you bike. I have a Spesh Roubaix Pro with Dura-ace wheels and I would be grateful if anyone here could advise if this arrangement could damage the bike in any way & if not, if there is any benefit to hanging from the back wheel.

I'm particularly thinking that possibly the single point hook could somehow cause stress in the forks but I really have no idea

Hi i lve in the Netherlands and our company provides the same one-hook system for our racing bikes and there has never been any problem as far as i know. I believe the system has been in operation for more than ten years, so you can draw your own conclusions, regards ademort

I have seven bikes in my garage all hanging by a hook on the wheel rim - including some pretty expensive carbon jobs - no worries about it causing damage as your bike isn't that heavy. Make sure the hook is plastic coated so it doesn't damage the anodised coating on the wheel rim.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
