Look PP Carbon Pedal adjuster
Last week I fitted some Look PP Carbon pedals that a friend gave me to one of my bikes as a replacement for some other well-used Look pedals.
On their inaugural ride last night, I found them extremely loose fitting with my cleats. So on attempting to adjust them I cannot find the correct size Allen Key, I tried 2.5mm, 2mm, 1.5mm and 1.27mm and none fit. This is in a hole in the side of the pedal. Anybody any idea what size Allen key fits?

The adjustment is only for the release tension - if the cleat is moving around it's probably because it's worn - have you tried new cleats?Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

They are Look PP 256 Carbon.
They were releasing far too easily and there was too much movement - I use black cleats - because I like my feet to be firmly fixed.
The pedals are not worn - the cleats are partially worn, I have had them on the shoes for about 6 months but I don't get any movement on my other bikes.
If I can tighten the spring that will be an improvement.
Thanks for the interest.0 -
My pp256 pedals use a 4mm allen key to adjust the tension.
