10 year dmr sidekick what bb?

Could you suggest a bottom bracket for my dmr sidekick 10 year. It has a euro/mtb bb with a 68mm shell. dont know what this means.
What type do i need to get that will fit my 3-piece bmx cranks that came with my saracen amplitude 2? Will any euro/mtb bb fit?

the one on the saracen may fit if it has a mtb bb.

if not then what cranks are they? you will need to match the crank to bb fitting.

have a read of parktools to help you identify what you have now. and what tools you may need to change things over.

Ill have aread of park tools. The cranks are Saracen dirt 36T in 3 piece welded Cromoly with 8 spline axle fit. The bottom bracket is a Saracen dirt with 8T spline axle . I'll pop saracen an email soon.

Ive looked on park tools and found out about similar 3piece cranks, but with 48 splined spindle.
Im now utterly confused so any more info advice would be great. If not ill take it to the lbs this week or weekend.
