I would avoid that bike in your link like the plague, it is an utter piece of crap.

Your money would be better spent on a Mongoose Tyax Elite (or Tyax Super) or GT Avalanche.

You will not got even a half decent full suss for £300, stick with a hardtail like the Mongoose.

You can ride (almost) anything on a hardtail that you could ride on a full suss.

  • People do possibly the hardest race in the world (megavalanche?) on hardtails along with people doing freeriding on them too. It'll be fine for what you want and you'll become a much better rider by getting a hardtail first.
please please please don't get a full sus at that price.
I've heard many people talking good stuff about the mongoose and the gt avalanches at the lower prices you want.

i would stay well clear of a full sus if you only have £300...definetely have a look at a hardtail as it will be much better and will last longer
