Sram Gearing.

Hi all. Have got a new rear rim for my orange and i am going to use sram gearing. i was reccommended the sram x-7 derailler but there is the option of a log cage or a medium cage. what would be best. also what trigger shifters can i use, what cassettes can i use and what chains can i use with the x-7?? 8)

If you've only got one ring at the front you could get a different mech and a short cage even.0

X.0 is the best SRAM make but they're MEGA expensive. Not worth it IMO.
X.9 is the next best, then X.7 and so on down the range.
I just got a 2008 X.7 rear mech (medium) which is supposedly the 2007 X.9. I also got a X.7 shifter.
I think they were about £35 each from CRC.
I'll be running with them with SRAM PC990 Chain, PG990 Cassette and single Blackspire 36t with e.13 SRS up front.Current:
