Northern Rock Cyclone challenge 2008

Entries will open for the 2008 Northern Rock Cyclone Challenge rides at midnight on the 30th of November. The format for the whole weekend will be similar to 2007 but there will be some new features for the sportive rides on the saturday. These will include mobile tech service provided by Shimano, finishing certificates and more photographers on the course. There will be a new additional feed station for the 100ml ride.
The event website is currently being updated and all new text information is already completed. The online entry system is curently under test and will be ready for the 30th.

Could there be a free sample at the end by any chance? If so I may need mine half way round.
\Looking forward to 2008 ride, great event well organized and well signposted all the way round. Criterium races on the Friday night well worth a look to help build up the atmosphere. 0 -
will have to have a word with the brewery and see if they will put up a stand in Matfen! they are just a couple of miles away from the route! You could always make a detour to savour a pint. The brewery is HIgh House Farm brewery. Their Matfen Magic beer is magic!

It was a bit damp last year at the crits, but the pros put on a good show inspite of the weather, good support races as well. Rain only goes skin deep anyway, and if your cycling in this country, you get used to the shitty weather. 0 -
