CB Quattro pedals
Does anyone have any experience of them, what did you think?!
They are for commuting really, I tend to go off road most weekends now (i like the mud...no really!)
They will be used with a selection of MTB shoes, unless you al tell me there useless, in which case i will have to get new pedals and shoes (but i'd rather not tbh)
Many Thanks
Dave

I've been using them for a few years and they've been great. I've always used eggbeater derivatives since switching from SPDs 3 or 4 or so years ago - SPDs didn't agree with my knees and the extra float on the EBs seemed to cure that pain.
Only issue I can think of is that the actual contact point between show and pedal is quite small if you're using cleats without the plastic 'surround', so if the shoes aren't particularly stiff that might be an annoyance...
I'm still on the same pair after 3+ years, so they seem to wear ok... the engagement isn't quite as pronounced as some makes and they do 'feel' different when clipped in, but if you're using Eggbeaters on an MTB you know all this already!0 -
Second thumbs up here for them especially for a commute.
Double sided engagement is a god send in my book.0 -
i have also only used the egg beaters and not the quattros, and i can highly recommend them! ive got them on my good bike and SPDs on my commuter, i prefer the egg beaters. More freedom and movement for the foot which i likeBMC TM01 - FCN 0
