Any Ideas? or is it worth saving for Ti? (I keep coming back to the Cove Hummer. Someone tell me it's a bad idea.)
The road is long...so take a shortcut.

  • I know this is Ti. But if you either very short or very tall this is right up your street - legend of a frame!

  • Yeah, I've looked at OnOne. The ScandAl 29er in particular. Any thoughts?

  • This is a question i'd be interested in knowing the answer to as well.
I like the look of tthe Cove Handjob, the Reynolds tubes on the Genesis Altitude and the practicality and the adaptability of the P7 Pro.
I reckon if the Genesis had rack mounts i'd have bought one, but it hasn't and it's because of this that I keep coming back to the Orange, I'll probably end up buying a 2008 one. Plus the dropouts mean that you can stick a Rohloff in there if a lottery win comes along or singlespeed it if you move to Holland.
Have you noticed that you never find discounted P7's in the autumn?
    Good Luck. Jon.

For me it would have to be a rocklobster, a top spec for the money especially with the reba fork. It's what i went for anyway

If you want a bike for XC/trails with about 100mm of travel, then the RL 853 would be my choice, a good poundlighter than the P7 and 456 and made from Reynolds superb 853 tubing.
