Hi all,

New to the forum and looks great.

A quick question before I go at it and make a mess. Got a new easton EA 50 riser bar for the ride to replace the crappy stock flat bar. They are a bit long and want to take a bit of the ends.

Mark it out, get the hacksaw, tidy up the ends I presume?

Hacksaw will do just fine mate... I've cut loads of sets of bars with them with no problems.

Just be sure to file of any burr incase it cuts your hands / grips.

Alternatively you can use a pipe cutter which will give you a straight & clean finish.

You can get them cheap from most plumbing supply shops, or eBay.

Oh, and welcome to the forum! :D

  • Cheers for the help. I was thinking pipe cutter too but don't have one. I'll get at it once I get out of work this evening.

    Thanks
