child trailer recommendations?
I am looking for a trailer. Any suggestions? I have seen some where the children face in opposite directions on either side of the trailer. Anyone know which type these are? Might prefer to keep them vaguely seperated for less squabling!
Also what age can they go in the trailer from?

Not sure what trailer you're on about with them facing opposite ways. We went for the Rolls Royce option with a Chariot Cougar 1 - is very nice, but there are plenty of decent cheaper options (though the ski kit may come in handy for an XC-skiing holiday this winter ).
As for age - ours went in at 6 months, at which point he could sit and hold his head up. He was in a car seat at that point, though now at 9 months old we use http://www.amba-marketing.com/products. ... 18&pid=425 which holds him in place. As with everything with kids that age it depends more on their development than how old they are.0 -
Loads of really good makes, lots of prices depends how much you use it?
I've an old adams trailer, worth the weight in gold, many hours of cycling with the (not now) small ones, oh and what ever you try they'll still squable.
The only thing i'd suggest is an aluminium frame,it's lighter, does not rust, better for re-sale, oh and put slime in the tubes, because when you puncture it's even more annoying when it's the trailer with kids in.
As above when the head is strong enoughThere's always www.cyclechat.co.uk0 -
The Chariots from AMBA have a baby sling that takes children up to 10 months. For first hand info give AMBA a call. Ruth and Nics little one has been transported in a Chariot since early on so they are both well versed in all the questions you may have. As well as the ski option they can be converted to a stroller.Neil
