Ive built a street fixed for round town, had a few problems:
Set the cranks up so badly the chainline was so bad it over fatigued the spider and it shattered when i pushed hard on it, 'tis ok my insurance will replace that as accidental damage.
Finally got the front wheel to match the rear so can stop using spare on the front (3-4 month wait for these spokes and they were on the last delivery to leave rj chicken before they burnt down and were the only thing on the delivery that was actually correct)... however i used a trials hub for strength which has a 10mm axel, my pace forks have 9mm dropouts.
I need a new fork anyway as the pace is about 3" too long for the frame, ive got the money to get some nice ti forks made to sort that...
So i ordered some custom schmolke carbon handlebars instead... Daft?
