C'mon, who's going to be first to buy the Chanel bike?

The Chanel bike hits the boutiques in time for Christmas, and will cost around £6,200.

How the hell can one seriously justify that price tag.... madness I tell you, madness....
  • That's just insane.

Why when you can get one of these for £570 RRP:

Well, if people are prepared to pay £30k for a mobile

Don't get me started on "Design", I work near a design college and used to work with a guy who lectured there. "Full of sh1t" doesn't even start to do it justice...

I always go for the "form follows function" approach, therefore the Chanel bike is...for tw£ts with more money than sense, ie uninformed idiots

But that's just my opinion, I'm quite open minded about it

It's just a hill. Get over it.

...oh but it's so you darling...you simply must...
...all the way...'til the wheels fall off and burn...
  • I'm also a form function bloke

Why do people by polo T-shirts at £70 when they only cost £2 to make?

All those "badges", so little quality.

You could get a couple of really nice bikes, loads of clothing and tools, a workshop stand, lights, locks...and still not look as much of a £$%t as whoever buys one of these

Even though it's Chanel, they'll still have to pedal to make it go. Do you think we should tell them?

  • Does this mean to keep up my green credentials on line I should bin the Land Rover bike catalogue I received in Bikebiz this month? Or do I go to the extremely rare BMW road bike or the Ferrari branded Colnago?
