Just recieved my new bike today from Halfords online, noticed on the Tora 318 forks on the instore bike that it had a remote adjuster on the handlebars for fork adjustment and lockout but mine bought online has only the 2 adjustment dials on top of the fork leg, i'm assuming they are both the same 07 bikes.
Is there any diffrence in quality or performance?

  • Cosgraa,

I think you are referring to the Rock Shox 'Pop Loc' system.

I'm fairly sure this is not standard on the Fury. I think the one you saw in store must have just been down to them putting it on for show purposes. They do come with some Rockshox forks as standard, but not the model on the Fury. They sell for about £50 seperately.

    How is the bike otherwise?
  • great thanks, just built it up today, shame to ride it when it is gleaming straight out of the box, pleased i got the fury over the kraken, thanks to the advice of yourself n others on the forum, Thanks again
  • had mine for just over a week now and cant fault it for the money, got my first puncture with it on sunday thanks to the poorly finished inside of rim and the rizla thick rim tape, but a bit of insulating tape easily corrects that small moan, otherwise cant fault it. :D
  • Definately stealth lookin in black, only the reflector's show it up on the radar :o
  • Got mine yesterday!! I love it. Looks sooo nice.. seems a shame to ride it!
