I'm thinking go with the exposure simply because it wouldn't have any annoying cables to deal with !
Any other light for the same sort of money that i haven't seen aswell ?
cheers

I had the exactly same choice but using them for my bars. was going to go with the joystick maxx but this was about half a month ago and they weren't in stock anywhere till about nowish (beginning of nov). Then someone on here mentioned that merlin cycles had a deal on the hope so i went for that and got the endurance pack with handlebar/helmet mounts, 2 batteries, a long joining cable and charger for 162 delivered!! its spectacularly bright and not too heavy as the battery can go in a pocket or backpack for the helmet mounting. If you only want it for your helmet the joystick might be best but if you're gonna use it on your bars as well i can really recommend the hope.
The joystick is obviously more compact but the hope gives a better light according to reviews.0 -
I'm guilty of spreading the news about the Hope offer from Merlin
I can't comment on the Joystick, but according to MBUK and MBR reviews the Hope is better but the RRP they listed at the time made the Joystick a better all-round choice.
At the price which they are now it would be the Hope's that's be top in the reviews.
Given the choice I went for the Hope - it's a fantastic light all round, battery life gets picked on (standard batt) but it's done fine for me so far on 2-3 hour rides.Scott Scale Custom

Cheers for the reply, it would be just solely for use on my lid, i'm currently running lumicycles on my bars and just wanted something to see round the corners while on tight singletrack ! I'm swaying for the expo but have also been informed there will be a few hid lights coming up second hand because of the new 5 watt led technology coming out !! :?0 -
If they're second hand be ready to splash out for a new bulb sooner than you'd wish?0

I have ordered the hope vision led enduro but they didnt turn up at my local bike shop with the hope delivery on friday .The word is that demand has far outstripped supply and they are running short. They are hoping to fill mine and another guys order in a week .. On the other hand the owner of the shop has kindly offered to lend me his brand new Hope vision HID enduro lamp.
So its seems these are pretty popular.
Thumbs up to the hope0
