kona hoss for a newbie

Hello

I`m looking for my first proper hardtail bike- My budget is £500 and my local bike shop has recommended me a 2006 Kona Hoss for £450- good deal?

    They are a good strong bike,if you are going to be giving it some abuse or are a heavier rider.

    If you don't fit this criteria,then there are much better eqipped bikes for the same money.

    What type of riding are you going to be doing?

    I shall be doing mainly off trails riding down the marlborough downs and wales and possibly abroad, occasional and i say occasional ride to work
