Racing Ralph Tubless Tyres?

I've been using the non UST version on the back of my bike for a while now.

I only recently put a Nobby Nic on the rear for the winter,and the difference in rolling resistance was immediately felt.

The remarkable thing is that the Racing Ralphs don't seem to be that much less grippy,depsite the slimline tread.

The Nobby Nics were better for it or worse?

The Racing Ralphs spins up and rolls a lot quicker than the Nobby Nic.(Of its type the Nobby Nic rolls quite fast,but if you see how shallow the tread is on the RR compared to the NN,you can see why!)

In summer,I use the grippier NN on the front to stop the front washing out,with the RR on the back,to get lower rolling resistance.In winter however,I use NN front and rear.

When the current set wear out,I'm keen to try the new improved Racing Ralph.If its a tad grippier I may even run them front and back next summer.

Its those or Conti Speed king supersonics......

Let us know how you get on iand how much you paid if you buy them via the German site.

I've always been lucky enough to get them on offer at Cyclesurgery or via ebay.Not paid more than £25,per tyre yet.

Good tyres as they are ,I would baulk at paying full rrp for them.
