Thought I'd have a try at asking on your forum just in case anyone can help. I'm looking for a MTB club as near as pos. to Farnham. I have looked at the club list on britishcycling.org.uk, but cannot find any with a name I know of. If only there was a way of entering post code and it coming out with the nearest club.
I have tried Aldershot and Camberley CC, but despite being listed as a MTB club they do not do organised rides.
Any Help appreciated!

Tom,
I belong to VCGH over in Godalming, not too far from Farnham. You'd be more than welcome to come along on any of our Sunday rides. There also a friendly bunch of guys & gals who ride from the Ash/Frimley area, who have their own website - THT. They do rides at the weekend and every Tuesday & Thursday night. The only other club in that area I know of is Fanrborough & Camberley CC.
If you need any more info on VCGH then drop me a mail.

Thanks, I looked at your site and I could probaby get to you thru hankley common.
Only thing is im 14, so i dunno if I'm fast enough. I have been going every week with a mate around the farnham area, & he was looking for a club to join too.
I have no idea what ability I am, Ive got good fitness as i do other sports, but I dunno about technical ability?? I'd be happy to come along to a trialCheers,

OOOh, I read your code of conduct and it says riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or an approved coach... do you have any?Cheers,

I would post on the THT intro page (you will have to sign up) and ask the question re your age / ability.
Jay would be the best person to answer on this.
Not sure that the night rides we do on Tues / Thurs eve would be suitable but other rides are organised most weekends.

Yep, unfortunately due to the insurance the club has to cover the organised rides, we can't allow unaccompanied under 18's on the rides. At the moment we don't have any 'approved coaches' , so the whole 'juniors' side of the club hasn't developed as no-one is willing to put time and effort in.
