Just a quicky, but can a cannondale lefty fork be fitted to mountain bikes other than cannondales? 'dales seem to have very large head tubes, and my bike has a pretty big one, with an aheadset inside it, but not as big as a cannondale, gonna change me forks and wondered if the lefty would work as they seem very good? Cheers for the advise.
making it all up as i go along

  • Hi

I dont think it will fit, if the headset is internal type where you can't see it then probably not as the frame is not 1.5" as with a Cannondale it is just larger in diameter to house the internal bearings.

Although for bikes with 1.5 headtube yes you can fit a lefty.

    Hope this helps

I seem to remember sombody else asking the same question. I think you can buy an adaptor but the costs involved seem the same as fitting a normal fork.
Eagles may fly high but Weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
