  • £350Trek 4300Disk fits your bill amongst others at this price you'll either get cable disks or very poor hydraulic (giant MPH) also 4" forks won't be fantastic either.

  • Hi
I asked the same question about a month ago and every one practically said the same thing
    Mongoose Tyax Elite
i brought one very very good bike
    good front fork with rebound
    solid frame
    good rims
    i got the 07 version
the 08 version has lockout on the fork but i dont think you really need it
    £220
although be ware mine got stolen luckily i got it back though yay me
    lol
so get a good D lock
also the GT Avalanche is very good bike my mate got it very solid bike good discs
    hope that helps
  • Another vote for the Mongoose Tyax Elite! :D I think the 07 is better?

Carrera Kraken worth a look in the sales. It is important you try a few out.
