I have just bought some new Keo's after trying and liking them, on my race bike I'm getting an on-one and will use the existing spd's on that.
Anyway, I have never changed pedals myself. Can anyone give me advice, I don't have a spanner.. yet

Get a Pedal Wrench - 15mm is the norm.or any 15mm spanner thin enough to fit.
Drive side/right unscrews anti clockwise, non drive side/left unscrews clockwise.A good way to remember this is (downwards towards the back wheel on both sides)
Obviously the reverse is true when reinstalling or fitting new
Before inserting the new pedal clean out the threads on the crank arms ( toothbrush and whitespirit ) then grease the threads on the pedal .Srew the pedal in with your fingers to avoid crossthreading until nearly all the thread on the pedal is in the crank then tighten with the spanner.Don't overtighten,Just enough to firmly seat the last few threads.0 -
The Keo pedals require an Allen key to fit them to the crank rather than a 15mm spanner. The principle as described above is the same.0

I;d definitely put antiseize grease on the spindle before putting the new pedals on.0
