Im looking to get new wheels for my 06 Enduro.

I want strong but light wheels that are tubeless compatible.
(I wont be using them for DH, just extreme cross country / all mountain)

Front is 20mm bolt through and rear 135mm QR

I was thinking of hope pro11 hubs but not sure about rims.

Any idea's.

Thanks

Alan

  • I have DT swiss EX5.1 rims on Hope pro 2 hubs, these are light and very strong and fantastic in my opinion. You can get a tubless kit from DT swiss for the rims and you can run QR or 20mm on the hubs.
I would also consider Mavic XM819 rims which are ust rims, as for hubs i would go for Hope pro 3.
    All really depends on budget?

Mavic XM819's would be a good choice.

  • Check out the new Bontrager Rhythm wheels. They are a bit wider at 28mm and are Tubeless compatible. The Bonty tubeless system is excellent aswell-loads simpler than Stans etc and cheaper than UST.
Any Trek /Fisher dealer should be able to help you.
