Beer on the Bike

If transporting beer home with bike (in a pannier) should I :

1) Try and stand up to keep weight forward so vibrating it less, for a cool smooth pint?

2) Or sit down as much as possible, to use my buttocks to damp the damaging vibrations?

3) Just put it in a rucsac (despite sweaty back) for un-fizzed beer

    Would it not be safer (preventing overloading of your bike) to drink it all before you cycle home?

    Ah, the Ray Mears option! Very sensible, until I ride into the canal!

    Once you get home tap the top of the cans and leave for 5 minutes and they'll be fine

    I like panniers but rucksacks are always best for anything you don't want bruised or shaken.

    rucksack, but is it bottles? or cans? lager or bitter?

    but wiskey it is easier to transport.

    Stick a bottle in your drinks holder so its nicely chilled by the time you get home - that's what i did last night :)

    Simple - always have beer in the fridge, then you can be drinking that while the fresh batch chills and settles. :wink:
    Even if the voices aren't real, they have some very good ideas.
