Hi i am writing this on behaf of a friend. He has not told me much about what he wants but I will get more info for you. He does the same stuff as me that is kind of freeride but just ride down mounatin but could be more xc. Hi's budget is no more than 600 and he will be having it on christmas. That is all that I know at the moment When I see him next or talk to him on msn next I will ask him more but could you still give me something so he knows what sort of stuff that he needs to look for. and I dont know if he wants full susser or hardtail

i would seriously look at a good hardtail there are loads of good ones out there for 600......... full sus for 600 will suck, be to heavy and fall apart, you need to spend a grand to get a decent fs0

£600 will get you a very cheap and heavy full suspension or a great hardtail. Go for a hardtail.0
