Campag 10spd rear query

I want to take my drivetrain back to a 9spd system over the winter, but leave my 10sd Veloce rear on the bike. I seem to remember someone saying that the jockey wheel shims(?) need changing but otherwise it was fine.
Have I got this right or do I need a new set of jockey wheels or just leave the mech as it is? (Can you even get shims on their own?)
Cheers

I ran a 10 speed mech on a 9 speed cassette last winter. It worked okay although the chain wasn't too smooth on the largest rear sprocket. I just avoided steep hills.0

Ta for that, I'll leave the rear mech as is then, maybe I'll just have to buy a new one for next year (tee hee)Please look at my handmade cycling cufflinks0
