9/10 speed missmatch...

Does anyone know if regular 07 Sora shifters will work with a 9 or 10 speed drivetrain setup i.e. rear mech, cassette etc?

    they won't cos sora is 8 speed. The indexing won't work. you could put on an 8 speed cassette and they should work with a 9 speed rear mech but you'd need to put on an 8 speed chain.
