I got the puegeot retro kit bib-shorts from prendas ciclismo for £45. Obviuosly you may not be as sad as me and want to look like robert millar everywhere you go, but point is that the santini made shorts are the best i have ridden in. try and bag yourself some of those

Very interesting, as the Santini XXL shorts work for tremendously well endowed sprinters as well......

Erm, tremendously well endowed in the legs dpt, obviously!
If you're as fat as me, all bikes are bendy.
  • Giordana tenax bib shorts got top marks on the cycling plus test. They are around the £50 mark.....http://www.www.mtscyclesport.com/product.asp?ID=1802#

I'll second the Giordana tenax, I prefer them to my Assos!

Ribble were doing Assos Uno bibshorts for £49 recentlyand I would rate them as the best I've used.
