I know that there is no hope trying to save my bike gears and chain now,
but, i planning on getting a new bike soon
so does any one know as a quick and easy way to prevent rust, I would wash them more often but they are always getting muddy from when i ride back from school, and I just can't be bothered to clean the when its cold, dark, and i have tons of homework to be doing.
Is any one has any ideas, or knows of any think I can put on my bike to help please leave a message.
Thanks for any help.

I find that Gunk engine degreaser will remove mild rust from parts etc, but to stop it from forming in the first place use a water displacer like GT85 or just have a can of spray on Lube handy (Finish Line)
Then once a week strip chain down using gunk and re-apply a fresh lube ready for the week aheadScott Scale Custom
