Bontrager crankset - new chainrings?

I have a trek 1200 which came with a Bontrager Select 53/39 chainset.
The big ring teeth are starting to show a bit of wear and the chain is starting to stretch so I want to replace both chain rings, chain and cassette.
Do I have to get bontrager chainrings? or will shimano ones fit the crankset?
