Cyclocross Tubs?

I am a lucky man and have just taken delivery of my new Pinarello CX Cross bike (for anybody that went to the London Bike Show - it was the show bike, some nice upgrades for no extra charge!). Well I have some tub capable wheels lying around and am looking at the various nice tubs from TUFO, Challenge, Dugast, etc - but have no base line to work from. I will use the Maxxis Rage tyres that are fitted as standard - but like most addicts to this sport am always looking for some nice bits!

I am planning to use the bike on Canal Towpaths, green lanes and in the local woods.

Thanks in advance,

Ed
ps I am also interested in any other Cross Bike tyre feedback

I'm not sure it's worth using tubs outside of racing. My team mates all love Challenge Grifos. I run the clinchers, and they have wonderful grip and a really nice ride. But I don't think I would risk them on towpaths.

Why not just run Michelin Muds or Schwalbe Landcruisers for non-racing situations...
