Cassette cleaning

When cleaning your cassettes, what systems/brushes etc do you use?
Currently after a messy ride I wash of with soapy water and a old toothbrush - add GT85 then leave it.
As I lube the chain with finish line lube, it transfers into the cassette so I am not actually adding any lube at all. Just the GT85 (which I know isn't a lube - just use it to displace water is all)
Is this a general procedure of are there any other rituals out there?
Cheers

You can buy specific brushes to use with degreaser for casettes but you can also make your own 'scraper' by chopping an ice cream container up, in a Blue Peter fashion.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

i spray muc-off on leave for a few mins then get the muc-off brush (from ultimate cleaning kit) scrape all the muck out from the gaps then get the bigger brush and scrub it.....spray some GT85 on and lube... job done0
