How do I shorten the hose for my Deore hydraulic brakes?

I have just gone to put my new brakes on and both hoses are too long.

I am really keen on fixing them myself but dont know how to shorten the hoses.

Can i twirl them aloosely around the frame just for the short term?

it tells you in the instructions that came with the brakes.

if you did not get any instructions then download some from shimanos webby.

but basically a sharp knife. some new crush olives and possibly a new end. then a rebleed.
