Quick Release Prob
Is it normal that on my Giant SCR 3.0 I cannot remove the front wheel without deflating the tyres. Even with the quick release on the dual pivot brakes open the tyre will not fit through. With that lever open the brakes do not move much farther away from the rim.
Brakes work fine and I am happy with the travel on the levers and they are not rubbin on the rim. Excuse my ignorance as I'm use to hydraulic brakes from MTBing, but am I missing something obvious.
Appreciate any help

Let some of the cable out ( just a little) by loosening the cable clamp . Retighten the cable clamp then readjust the blocks on the rim using the cable adjuster.
If you have 25mm tyres on or even wider you still may need to help the wheel out with a gentle thump on the top of the tyre.0 -
Tyres are 26mm (Kenda Kontenders) just gave them a gentle(ish) thump and the wheels popped out.
thanks a lot.GT
