Selling Lava Dome 93 to buy Commencal Combi S advice please

Hi, I have a 93 Lava Dome which I have had since new. I have spec'd it up a fair bit but it has now come to the time to upgrade. I can get this bike for a reasonable price. Is it a good bike in comparison to my Lava Dome? I know it is full sus but how soft is it. Most of my riding will be x country. The bike is the 2008 model. The frame is suposed to be very good for the money. Has anyone riden this bike?
