fitting forks ?

hi am getting new forks with is mounts do i have to rem face of the mount to fit my disc brake caliper ?
play hard ride hard

    it is advisable but not always needed. what brakes? what fork?

    i have Magura Julie with post mount am getting adator to fit them with 2008 revelation dual air with is mounts

    should not need facing.

    well lets say i run a similar set up on my revs. and did not face them.
