Another post just below made me think of these...

what are Hope XC hubs like?

and is the price difference between these and Pro IIs mainly due to the Pro IIs conversion ability? as CRC price XCs only about £35 different to Pro IIs

Also has anyone EVER seen either Pro IIs or Hope XCs in green? they make them, or did, yet I can not find a single scent of any shop selling them in green :( ... want them in green for mi' new rig build

Any advice appreciated.

Okay - so not advisable investing in a set of them bad boys then.

Thanks for that - post over!

not saying that just be aware that only a few days ago Hope anounced that they would be stopping making them. Most service parts will be readily available but the parts that are (or will be in limited supply) will need a bit more care if you want a long life from them.

I use XC hubs on one of my bikes nearly 4 years with no servicing, still run sweet as...

I think I may buy some spares now though, just in case!

    Okay fair enough.

So... the green Pro IIs (or XCs) - has anyone seen or heard of anyone they know seeing these in real life?!?! its only a colour I know but I'm into visuals and green hubs would look pretty awesome really - in fact if I could find them in green the debate about which hubs to go for on mi' new wheels would be over.

Help please - someone must know something about these allusive little spinners...!
