Advice needed for a Rear shock on 2004 Enduro Pro Frame

I'm looking for a rear shock for a 2004 Specialized Enduro Frame I just purchased off ebay. I have a number of questions:
1. What is the eye to eye length of the shock I need
2. The size of the bushes
3. Looking at Fox RP23 or DT Swiss SSD 190L Lockout Air Shock, which one
4. What is an Itch switch
