Hi All

After the Cyclefit experience I know need to raise my bars so will be buying new forks with an Alloy steerer, how much can I stack up the spacers. I need about 6 cms, is that realistic??

Cheers

Yes I think so. I ran 60mm and a flipped stem for a while on one bike, though I'm managing with 50mm now. Seems fine, but doesn't exactly look great obviously!:

Alloy rather than carbon steerer is the key, as you say.

The curse of very long legs, normal body and arms and the current trend for shorter headtubes and integrated headsets..

Cheers Steve ... nice bike, stem combo doesn't look that bad. Your right about the curse of being tall, I don't think anyone in Italy can be over 6ft tall.

Bear in mind that you can get steeper stems as well in combination with the spacers.
