Maybe my search skills are a bit lacking, but I can't find any mention on the whole forum of BH bikes, despite the L60 being Cycling Plus's Bike of the Year In January.

Anyway, after much wondering, I bought one this morning - the L65. So it's perhaps a bit late, but I wondered if anyone else had a got a BH of any description, and what their experiences of it were/are.

As it is, I'm just hoping the weather's still good at the end of the week so that I can it out without it getting wet/dirty!

  • I've got a BH Carbon Classic frame which I've built up with a Dura Ace Groupset into a very nice bike which I'm really pleased with.
  • I've got an L35 which is a nice big, and good VFM. They are a lot more popular in France than the UK at the mo.

I have the Carbon Classic Frame which I'm in the process of building up with Ultegra. Little known brand to the UK so I had difficulty getting much info too. I'm in same boat waiting till next week for it to be rideable!

I'm glad to see some BH action here :D

I have spent a long time deciding on my new bike and eventually chose the L65 (Ultegra set up). I did some searching and found little info available. I've copied the web details below to the 2007 catalogue and also the 2008 range (lower link).

I've ordered the L65 but the 2008 equivalent is called the L55 Speedrom Ultegra. It is on its way from Spain at the moment so will update when it arrives.

I have to say I was very impressed with the 2007 L65 when I tried it out.

Picked mine up on Thursday - a 2007 Carbon Classic L65. Haven't ridden it loads so far, but mighty impressed with it on the basis of the little bit I've done. I went for it because of a combination of reasons - new LBS (that's worth supporting) stocking them, good value for money, healthy discount, and most importantly, good reviews. As I say, not much riding so far, but would recommend it. Also hear they're going to be supplying the AG2R team in 2008.

  • Is the BH as in Bernard Hinault? I know there were bikes produced once bearing his name which I believe he rode in his latter years.
  • I found a great site for BH bikes, you get free stuff with all the 2008 bikes and big discounts on the 2007 bh bikes. www.bhbikesuk.com
