...no me neither but I am hoping for Cyprus late April (which will affect my preparations for the Spring Classics  ) and then the Italian lakes in June/July... although probably not with the bike.

Anyone got anything exciting sorted yet?

I've booked my hotel for Roadburn next year (april in holland)

I'll be going to Emissions from the monolith 10 in Texas as well.... other than that I'm not sure.

I spent a month in NZ this year, so I'm not going to better that. might have to think of something more off the beaten track this year

As usual, I'll be staying in Anglesey for my hols. I'd love a night or two away with my husband as well if I can get grandparents to babysit.
I would absolutely love to go on a cycling holiday or training camp thing. Maybe when the kids are a bit older I'll make it abroad with my bike. Somewhere with amazing food and wine as well would be just brilliant.

    not booked them yet.

I am planning a week in France with bikes and hiring a campervan..... first week of the school summer hols watching the TDF. :D

For the other week we may well bump into Popette, as we are planning on either going to North Wales also or the Scottish Highlands.

There's a good chance of that as if I'm not on Anglesey, I'll be in Scotland visiting in-laws(not the highlands admittedly).
Anglesey is good for cycling. I've got a few good routes now - lots of ups and downs and little flat. There is one route with a (I think) 35% gradient on it. I drove it first and as my car really struggled to get up, I thought I might not be ready to cycle it just yet. I've been all around the island on the cycle routes, some of which are really quiet roads - grass growing in the middle etc. Good fun though if you don't mind tractors. In the summer I came across a small group of teenage club cyclists. They were quite brazen about checking out my bike though - they came along side and then one shouted to the pack behind what I was on. I haven't had that before in cheshire :D
Apart from the teenagers (they weren't local), I've rarely seen other roadies in anglesey.
anyway, I'm rambling because it's the school hols and i've already had a glass of wine.
Have fun in northwales or scotland. If you see a giant pink cyclist, it could be me.

Probably wrong subforum but I'm planning the TransWales MTB race next August (did this year's TransScotland which was amazing). Then trying to decide between the Etape and the Trans Alps in July.
