Pro 2s Again

whats the point in Pro 2s? Yes i know there brill and all that but all i want is a strong freeride wheelset. Custom builds cost a lot, i'm willing to pay for them, but after seeing the halo freedom disc wheel set for £100 less than a custom build i'm not convinced.

    Well, Pro II's are better, for all the reasons you've probably heard. They will build up into a tough enough freeridey wheelset with the right spokes and rims. I've got some with DT 5.1 rims, and they really are good.
    You are, in my opinion, completely right about the Halos though. Given the price, that's what i'd put on a jump bike. If you're not into throwing money away, they're probably the way to go. The reviews i've seen are all good.
