Puncture resistant tyres for Genesis Flyer

Can anyone recommend a tyre to replace my Continental Ultra Race 700 x 23 tyres, so I don't get 4 puntures in five weeks! Maybe it's just bad luck, but any recommendations gratefully received. If it's not a dumb question can you put a larger tyre (eg a 26?) on a Alex AT400 rim?

    Punctures are mostly down to bad luck or lack of awareness in avoiding road debri. Some tyres are better than others when it comes to resisting penetration, but I would never sacrifice grip for punture protection. Better spend ten minutes changing a tube than half an hour picking gravel from your knee, backside and elbow.

    A 25mm tyre will fit your rim and may be a better bet at avoiding punctures.
